CD version of Adore came in today. These will start shipping this week. Driftwood Records also put just put out 40 additional copies on cassette and we’ll be getting some of those in soon.

Adore

Our new full length “Adore” is available now as a pay what you want download from our Bandcamp page and as a limited CD or cassette from our Bigcartel. We’ve also restocked with some new/old merch for the occasion. All profits will be going towards paying for our US tour this summer. Thanks for your support.

Adore & US Tour 2013

In February 2013, we’ll be releasing our third full length album “Adore”. Eight songs recorded between September 2011 and December 2012. Adore is a concept album about broken relationships and the resulting fallout and features guest vocals by Britty Drake of the bands Pity Sex and Procession.

  1. Adore
  2. Blue
  3. Still For A Moment
  4. Missing
  5. Adrift
  6. Sundials
  7. Morgan & Frankie
  8. What You Were

Adore will initially be released as a professionally pressed CD in 4 panel digipak limited to 150 copies and a cassette limited to 25 hand numbered copies with a vinyl release to follow later in 2013. Preorders go up in a few weeks after we ship a bunch of outstanding orders.

Additionally, we’re planning a record release show on the west coast in late March with an expanded lineup. We’ll be playing the album in its entirety for the first and only time. More details on this will follow in the near future if it doesn’t fall apart first.

In July and early August, we’ll also be embarking on our first major tour. We’re still seeking a drummer for these shows, preferably based around Atlanta or the surrounding area or someone who wouldn’t mind meeting us there. Tentative dates are as follows:

7/26 - Atlanta, GA
7/27 - Charlotte, NC
7/28 - Greensboro, NC
7/29 - Richmond, VA
7/30 - Philadelphia, PA
7/31 - Brooklyn, NY
8/1 - New Haven, CT
8/2 - Boston, MA
8/3 - Rochester, NY
8/4 - Cleveland, OH
8/5 - Ann Arbor, MI
8/6 - Grand Rapids, MI
8/7 - Chicago, IL
8/8 - Bloomington, IN
8/9 - St. Louis, MO
8/10 - Oklahoma City, OK
8/11 - Dallas, TX
8/12 - Austin, TX
8/13 - Houston, TX

Anyone interested in playing or helping set up a show in any of these cities, let us know. These are not finalized dates and we have plenty of wiggle room.

2013 is looking to be an exciting year for us and we hope to see a lot of you next summer on tour.

Morgan & Frankie EP

We just released a new digital EP. A new song from the upcoming album, a live track and an abandoned song from earlier this year. It’s free. Tell your friends.

Gloomlights

When Gloomlights was first announced in late 2010, we gave it a subtitle of “Parts I & II” hoping to be able to expand upon the concept of the album with further releases later. The subtitle was dropped before the release, but we kept the idea around (Everything Reminds Me Of You is Part IV, for example). With this, we complete Gloomlights with the last piece of the era.

Originally released by Music Ruins Lives exactly a year ago today (10/31/11) and sold out in preorders, this album has not been available in a physical format AT ALL since the initial 56 copies. Additionally, the Music Ruins Lives issue was missing a short DVD created just for the first pressing that has remained unreleased to this day, included in this set for the first (and last) time.

Additionally, we’re also including what we think is the centerpiece of the set: Gloomlights Pt III. An hour+ long new album constructed from the remains and shards of unfinished, forgotten and lost tracks from the recording sessions. These will not be rough demos. Every track will be completely finished with vocals and proper mixing/mastering.

We’re never making more copies of this. These 25 copies are the final chance to own Gloomlights in a physical format barring some sort of miracle/Music Ruins Lives reissue.

Packaged in a screen printed 7” foldover jacket with full color insert.

Disc 1 & 2: Gloomlights Pts. I & II
Original untouched tracklist from the first pressing. No remastering, no remixing.

Disc 3: Gloomlights Pt. III
Over an hour of unreleased material that we’ve finished up and prepared just for this release.
1. Scene (Original Ver.)
2. Ghost (Original Ver.)
3. Clouds
4. Bright
5. Despair & Consequence
6. If/May/Trust
7. Consume
8. Nameless
9. Foggy Smiles
10. Highroad
11. I Miss You, You Know
12. Gloomlights (Original Ver.)

Disc 4: Rainclouds Over California (Pt. 2)
Short live DVD originally intended to be packaged with the Music Ruins Lives issue of Gloomlights. A companion piece to the Rainclouds Over California DVD with full songs instead of clips.
1. Gloomlights Intro (San Francisco 7.15.11)
2. Rainclouds Over The Remains Of Hope (Livermore 7.16.11)
3. Joyless (Davis 7.17.11)
4. Variations On The Theme From Top Gun (Davis 7.17.11)
5. Scott Pilgrim vs You (Livermore 7.16.11)
6. Little Fury Things (San Francisco 7.15.11)
7. Passing (Davis 7.17.11)
8. Shift (Repeat) (Davis 7.17.11)

We’re taking preorders for these now despite a January release date to help generate some extra funds to complete some of the more expensive bits of Adore (mastering & production, namely). As a result, these will NOT ship with the upcoming DVD sets and will NOT be in your hands before the end of the year.
