We have one last burst of activity for the end of the year post-Gloomlights. (Currently scheduled for October, I believe)
First, I’d like to announce something we’ve been excited to do since before Airs even began. Our first 7” record is coming out sometime early 2012. Preorders probably late december/early january. Could be later.
‘Adore’ 7”
Early 2012
Limited to 25 copies on clear vinyl w/ handmade artwork

Side A: Adore
Side B: K.
We’re going to work out a way to allow those who order Gloomlights to get 20% off the 7” when it becomes available or something.
Shortly after Gloomlights is out, a series of 5 cassettes will be released. Each one limited to 1 copy. Improv emotive acoustic/drone tracks will be recorded directly to each tape late at night, then put up for sale. I will not keep any copies of this tape. Might be fun to see where they end up. No release dates will be given, no warnings. The tapes will be made available in order and will be announced on the facebook page when the first one goes up.
Finally, the long awaited Rainclouds wooden box (may or may not end up in a wooden box, fyi) will come out this year as well. We’re thinking 10 copies. I’ll be working closely with someone far more talented than I at making good packaging for this to make sure it comes out as best as possible. Two CDs: one being the original MRL version of the album, the second being every single track cut from the album (finished with vocals) and demo versions that are currently unreleased. This might come out this year or very early next.
The tour DVD was also completed recently as well. A rough trailer is available here:
The DVD will feature rehearsal, interview, show and general tour footage intercut with decayed nitrate film, propaganda videos, classic silent films and more set to an original soundtrack. During the remainder of the year and possibly into next year, I’ll hopefully be doing some solo instrumental performances, that might include some guest musicians, themed around this soundtrack. Dates to be announced if/when confirmed.
The soundtrack is currently available on bandcamp here:

And the DVD itself is still available here:

Next year, we’ll embark on a tour that may or may not come to your area. Get stoked.
